Local Priorities Drug dealing/ drug use Update |
||
|
I wanted to provide an update regarding drug dealing / drug use, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.
Local Haselbury SNT officers on patrol stopped a male in front of an address suspected to be used as an brothel. After having a chat, we were allowed access to the property where the male stated he resides. Officers were able to smell and find class B drugs in the property which lead to search of the male and the property it self. Large amount of Class A, B and C drugs, as well as cash were found - worth approximately about £40 000. 5 suspects were arrested all living in the same property. We are committed to tackling drug dealing wherever we find it. We will keep you updated on our efforts to do this in your area, but if you have any concerns or evidence, it is important you report this as soon as possible.
If you ever experience this issue or have information regarding an incident, please report it using our online reporting tools at https://www.met.police.uk/, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101.
Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org.
We are working on our brand-new strategy for how we police London and we want your help. Our New Met for London: Phase 2 strategy will guide how we deliver on behalf of Londoners over the next three years. | ||
